PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES & PRICING
A photo session will be approximately 2 hours long. Photo shoots are uniquely done in an outdoor location like a park, beach, garden, or any other location of your choice. Travel fee to location outside Hluhluwe is not included in the price of the package. There will be promotions or specials from time to time, so keep visiting this blog for updates.

BRONZE PACKAGE
R800 – 30 high-resolution edited images supplied on disc only for printing purposes. All images will be retouched and finished in colour, black&white, and sepia and given to you on a personalised DVD in a clear case.

SILVER PACKAGE
R900 - 50 high-resolution edited images supplied on disc only for printing purposes. All images will be retouched and finished in colour, black&white, and sepia and given to you on a personalised DVD in a clear case.

GOLD PACKAGE
R1000 - 80 high-resolution edited images supplied on disc only for printing purposes. All images will be retouched and finished in colour, black&white, and sepia and given to you on a personalised DVD in a clear case.

PLATINUM PACKAGE
R1600 - 80 high-resolution edited images supplied on disc only for printing purposes PLUS a soft cover A4 photobook with 24 pages PLUS a DVD slideshow of all your images with your favorite music. All images will be retouched and finished in colour, black&white, and sepia and given to you on a personalised DVD in a clear case.

SPECIAL OCCASION PACKAGES
To book me for a wedding, anniversary party, engagement party, christening, baptism, birthday party, school party, baby shower or any other special occasion, please contact me to negotiate a package based on location, duration of event and number of pictures.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers can be purchased for any of the above packages advertised on this blog. Upon receipt of full payment, a gift voucher can either be collected in person, or I can email you a .jpeg image of the gift voucher and you can print, package and present it at your own discretion.

PAYMENT
50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of date. Balance payment must be made upfront in cash on the day of photo session, or can be done via internet bank transfer 5 days prior.

DELIVERY
It will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to finish the photo editing. DVD with photos can be picked up in person, or will be couriered at the client’s expense. Photo books will take longer and up to 6 weeks to be delivered.

PLEASE NOTE
* Transport to location outside Hluhluwe will be charged at R3.00 per km for all road travel.
* 100% payment is due for the gift voucher.
* Additional personalised printed DVD duplications are R50 per copy.
* In case of a cancellation, the deposit will act as a cancellation fee and will not be refunded.
* The final edited photos remain the property of Isabel Blakeway until final payment has been made.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT A PHOTO SESSION
For any photo session, there are lots of last minute questions about what to wear, what other items to bring along, and what to expect. Still, preparing for your portrait session need not be confusing or overwhelming. Here are some tips for the different sessions you might come to.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR BEST RESULTS
There's no limit to the changes in outfits you bring; however, keep in mind that your photo session lasts two hours. I like to shoot early in the day in order to take advantage of soft natural light, and so that everyone is fresh as well.

If you are going to be late, or can’t make it to your session, please call so we can adjust if we can, or reschedule your appointment. Please be aware that if you are late in arriving, you might not get all the time you want or need on that day, and you may have to come back another time if we go over your allotted time, so as not to run into someone else's scheduled session.

If you have any pictures you have seen somewhere else that suggest a certain theme or pose, please feel free to bring them in. I will do my best to recreate your ideas.

MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION
We will schedule your shoot whenever you feel your tummy is big enough or around the last few weeks of pregnancy if you prefer. We will talk and decide what time works best for you. I will come to chosen location and shoot as many digital photos as possible. You are welcome to include children, a spouse, parent or friend in your session at no extra charge.

Be sure not to wear anything tight around your tummy before your session so there isn’t clothing marks.

Try to keep your schedule light the day of our shoot, so we can take our time and you won't feel rushed. Generally the shoot will take around 2 hours.

For the most pleasing results in maternity photos, I suggest keeping hair, make-up, and outfits simple; you can bring a plain black or plain white/beige blouse or shirt. Or bring both colors. Something simple, that is easily pulled up to show off your beautiful belly. If Daddy is coming, have him wear similar or complementary colors. Jeans are usually a good choice.

Relax, and don't worry if you feel extra bloated or you seem to have developed stretch marks overnight. Black and white prints seem to erase any flaws and really accentuate a round belly. And color prints can always be edited to reduce the stretch marks as much as possible. Only your beauty will shine through.

NEWBORN & BABY PHOTO SESSION
A newborn session is one of the greatest photo sessions you will have, but can be one of the most stressful. It is wonderful, when it is over and you have beautiful photos of your newborn. They grow so fast in those first weeks, it is hard to believe. To see how tiny their little fingers and toes were. The session itself can be a little stressful for the parents though because newborns are newborns. You are in the beginning stages of knowing what your baby wants and needs. You can guarantee, in the time I am there for the newborn shoot the baby will eat, burp, sleep, cry and maybe smile and open his eyes. I have a small child and still remember this time well. I am prepared for the unexpected that comes with the newborn shoot. It is best just to relax and let the baby be a baby. I will do the rest.

The photos from a newborn shoot are really about showing ratio, the size of the newborn compared to the parents. The newborn photos show the baby being a newborn. I will capture the essence of the newborn. The tiny hands and feet, the innocence of the newborn. There will not usually be a lot of photos of the baby smiling and laughing, that is not what newborns do. It is ok if your newborn sleeps for most of the shoot, that is what they do. When they are older, then you get the big smiles and laughter on film. I recommend doing a true newborn shoot in the first 3 weeks of the baby’s birth.

You can do a baby photo shoot anytime, what type of photos you get will depend on their age. Once they are sitting up, it is very easy to get smiles from them and they are not too mobile. I recommend this, if you want smiles and to really see their personality. This is a great time for a baby portrait session.

CHILDREN PHOTO SESSION
Children grow so quickly, it´s important to capture these moments in time, before they pass you by! Don’t be disappointed if you feel you aren’t getting exactly the shot you are hoping for. I will do my best to capture their personality as well as their beauty. I believe that letting kids be kids is the best way to really capture their essence. I will take candid portraits of your child being a child, laughing, playing, and being curious. I will take photos of the family, as well as any combination of family members.

FAMILY PHOTO SESSION
Family photo sessions are fun. Of course, Mom figuring out what everyone is going to wear, and when everyone can make it to the location at the same time without getting into hungry time is always a challenge.

Picking out clothes can be tricky. My suggestion is to aim for showing your family's personality through your pictures. If you are casual, it is best to be that way. Do remember, these pictures will be around forever.

Solid colors are best, as opposed to multiple patterns that take away from the focus. Some people like all black, or all white with jeans. Some like to have the parents in one color, the kids in another, or a mixture of several bold colors that work well together. The possibilities are endless. Be creative, and if you want to bring a special pet, that is fine too.

COUPLES PHOTO SESSION
Smile and capture the magic and love between you in a photo shoot specially designed for couples. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion like an engagement, anniversary, or simply capturing a special moment in time, a couple's photo shoot is a great way to express the love between you.

Upon arriving at location for your photo session, we will chat through ideas together and, if there's a look that you like to portray, bring along some pictures, and I will do my best at recreating the look wanted.

When you are ready, I will start your photo session, which will take up to 2 hours. Plenty of photos will be taken, so that we can end up with the best of the crop for you.

You may wish to bring your favourite clothing and footwear to be used as part of the photoshoot. If you want to bring a special pet, that is fine too.
